Big Splash Adventure

Our first day at Big Splash Adventure was much fun. Some liked the slides (not me), some liked to drift through the lazy river (not me) and some liked the floating disks (not me). What I liked was watching them and taking lots of pictures. But I did the rest anyway. At least one time each -- fulfilling a promise I made to do the water slides someday. The kids said the ones at Holiday World are a much smoother ride - maybe I'll try them. But those slides banged me around like I was a feather.

More than that though, was the "lifeguard" who sent Jacob down the slide pretty much right behind me and the water flow through the slides weren't enough to keep a person going, so while I'm waiting for the next flush of water, Jacob slams into me full force - his feet into my shoulder.

That pretty much ended my pain free day and I was quite glad I thought to take my handy dandy RX of pain pills.

The favorite thing of just about everyone was a series of floating disks that had a rope over them to help you navigate across. Keegan just jumped from one to another and he loved them.
