Holiday World
Yesterday was Toyota family day at Holiday World. Toyota rents the entire park and it's closed to the public. It was a chilly, rain drizzly day. The park being closed makes for pretty short lines for the most part. Or else a bunch of chickens work at Toyota. Not sure which but Carly and her friend, Daushinay managed to ride the roller coasters 22 times. That probably wouldn't happen on a normal day.
Today, Carly is wishing she hadn't. She is sore from head to toe. Ryan gave Billski all kinds of trouble Saturday, so Ryan's ticket was given to Daushinay, who went in place of Ryan. Everyone had a great time. I even rode some rides, much to the amazement of my children. I was a wild woman on the carousel, riding that rabbit. But then once I had survived that, rode the bumper cars, the scrambler and several others with Wes and Jacob. The girls were pretty much gone from the entrance till we left.
Jacob and his friend, Eli, braved the water park and it was COLD. Jacob said you lost feeling in your legs as soon as you got in the water. Of course that did not inspire them to get out. The water park is usually just a sea of people and from what we saw there were maybe two dozen idiots brave souls practicing for the Polar Plunge Club. They just looked like little blue Popsicles floating by on the rafts.
After we left the park we went out for Chinese food, which Daushinay had never eaten. It was interesting to watch her reactions. She tried just about everything, before basically eating a lettuce wedge for dinner. That child is not a fan of Chinese, although she loved the chopsticks.
I didn't take my camera, so you will just have to picture Carly popping Tylenol like tic tacs, Jacob blue and Wes grinning from ear to ear.
