Converted

After seeing how Andi improved with the use of acupuncture, I thought I would give it a whirl for my shoulder. I never would have considered this before last week. Although my shoulder initially felt great after the surgical closed adjustment in January, I had aggravated it a couple of months ago during a rowdy game of Wii tennis with Jacob.

Since then, my arm had been tingling and numb and hurting again - but I did not want to go back to the orthopaedic doctor. With Andi's major endorsement, I decided to take the age old acupuncture route today.

I won't say the needles were painless going in - but it was certainly tolerable. I won't say it felt good to me like Andi said, but I will say it was tolerable and only lasted 13 minutes. After 13 minutes, I will say that my arm was not numb. My hand is not tingly and I can move my shoulder more freely than I have in weeks. After just one session.

I did not come home and put Tiger Balm on my shoulder. I didn't spend the evening with a heating pad on it and I didn't take anything for pain tonight. Best 45 bucks I've spent in a long time.

Makes me look forward to Thursday's session eagerly.
