To put things in perspective

See the picture of the mountain? Look at the bottom of it, right along the water line, there is a black horizontal thing. That is a humongous cruise ship. It looks like a toy in front of the mountain. The other picture is the ice floating by my window last night.

Having a wonderful time - getting my sea legs (I almost put seal legs). Speaking of which, we've seen seals, otters and today -- my first whale in the wild. Cool stuff.
