Just in the nick of time

See this dot. It's about the size of a pencil head. Here's a side view of it. It's VERY sticky on the back of it. I have no idea where it came from, but I know exactly where it was about to go when I grabbed it.

Sophie had it and was putting in her "contacts" like Mommy does. She has obviously paid close attention to this process because she had her hair brushed over out of the way, that dot right on her right fingertip, the skin around her eye pulled down with her left hand and was about an inch away from her eye when I grabbed her hand.
