Catching Up

Carly and Wesley competed in another Bible Quiz last weekend. Wesley got a bronze medal and Carly did better than anyone could have imagined. She placed 3rd in the District and will go to the next round of competition. This was quite impressive to me since we really just joined to get a feel for next year. When we joined, the group was on week 14 of a 20 week study program. She went back and studied on her own and did great! She knows things about Joshua, Judges and Ruth that I'm sure I have no idea about. I'm really proud of the kids for doing so well.

Jacob, Seth and I went to see TobyMac Friday night. It was long, loud and awesome. By the time it ended, both boys had headaches from the noise and we were about as far away as you could be and still be inside. Afterwards, we capped off our evening with late night pancakes at IHOP. Jacob was the only kid who wanted to go once they realized this was a venture they would be financing on their own. We had a blast.
