He gives and takes away

Despite our prayers for Andie to have a healthy pregnancy, she has had a miscarriage. Andie and Zac are understandably heartbroken and we could use your prayers.

People sometimes worry about announcing a pregnancy so early "in case something goes wrong." But as it was, we got to rejoice in the news, share it with friends and family and enjoy the time we got to anticipate a new baby in the family. In short, we celebrated the life of this baby...no matter how short it was.

If they hadn't said anything, our hearts would still hurt, but we wouldn't have any memories of this baby. For now, the baby things will be put away for another time. If and when God decides to bless them with another child then we will once again, celebrate with them.
