Camping & Stuff

Just got home from a 3 day camping trip that was much fun despite cold, dreary weather. It helps to have 3 monster size rented RVs during camping trips in cold, dreary weather. That way, the adults can hang out in one and the kids can pretty much have the others. During breaks between bouts of cold and dreary, were bits of drizzle. Still during it all, everyone managed to stay reasonably warm and come away with lots of good memories. We entered a group costume contest and came in 3rd out of about 25 entries. The babies got to do carnival type things and the bigger kids did water relay races (did I mention it was cold), have an egg toss, a scavenger hunt and play bingo. We all trick or treated. I toted Sophie place to place on the golf cart - not sure if she didn't feel well or just really liked riding the golf cart, but either way, it's a fun way to do it.
