My kind of field trip

and I think the kids were OK with it too. We went to Cold Stone Creamery today and got a behind the scenes tour, ending in the grand finale of making your own concoction. Wes chose cotton candy and marshmallow ice cream with gummy bears. Carly chose mint ice cream with Reeses and Oreos.

Jacob chose chocolate with Reeses and Oreos.

Normally, Ryan would have skipped public school to go with us, but he had a field trip of his own today. He went to Ag Days at the 4-H center and had a blast looking at everything farm related. He was quite interested in telling everyone about pig guts. Not even talk of pig guts and brains could dampen the memory of my own delicious ice cream -- Banana ice cream with chocolate syrup and almonds. DELICIOUS.
