Wet Burritos

Mari posted this recipe the other day and I made it today with just a few changes. Billski had it for Father's Day and he loved it. It was simple to make and the kids all ate without griping. That makes it a success!

I actually made it yesterday and just baked it today after church, making it a great dish to take along with you to a party or gathering.

1 pound ground beef, browned and drained
1 pkg burrito or enchilada seasoning
1 can refried beans
1 pkg (8) flour tortillas
8 ounces shredded cheese (I used Mexican)
lettuce
diced fresh tomatoes

Sauce
1/2 of burrito mix
8 ounce tomato sauce
1 jar brown gravy
1/2 cup water

Stir beans and 1/2 of burrito mix into browned meat. In separate pan heat all of sauce ingredients. Fill tortillas with meat mixture, lettuce and tomatoes to taste. Wrap and place folded side down. Top with sauce and cheese. I threw some chopped green onions on top. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted, about 20 minutes.
