Surprise at ye ol' health department

I took Carly to the Health Department this morning to have the Gardasil vaccination. We left the boys in the car listening to The Monkees on my IPOD and basking in the newly repaired air conditioning.

After talking with the nurses there I decided to wait another year before she gets it. She did however need a chickenpox shot so she got that. Turns out Jacob needed a meningitis vaccine and a chicken pox vaccine, so she ran out and got him. He got one shot and we have to return for the other.

Then, Wesley and Ryan's day took a downward turn. Turns out they both needed some shots so I sent Jacob out to get them -- and the car keys. You could hear Wesley crying from the car all the way in. Shots also frighten him -- along with dozens of other things.

Wesley only had to get a chicken pox shot, but Ryan needed three different ones. He got two today and has to go back in a couple of weeks for the next one.

Afterwards we went to Wal-Mart where Carly bought a guitar. We've been home about an hour and she already thinks she's got a career as a singer and songwriter. Her songs sound quite similar to Hannah Montana's. As in word for word practically. That's all for now. I have to go explain plagiarism to Carly.
