The Olympics wait for no kid

Although Carly and Wesley weren't done with their school work, Jacob and Ryan declared they had waited long enough and the Olympics were about to begin. Keegan and I went out to the porch swing to watch and keep score.

There was sword fighting - that went fine until Jacob dealt the fatal blow to Ryan's sword.

The races were a tie every time and then there was some game of tag that involved carrying the sprinkler. I'm not sure what the rules were but they seemed happy with the outcome.

And of course there were closing ceremonies where the flame was extinguished and everyone went into the tent happy little campers.

They think they are camping out tonight and if they make it all night (or till 10 pm) that will be a first for them.
