Seth's surgery- email from his parents

Hi there all.

Well, Seth went in today for his derotation and placement of his ankle and heels. His surgery started at 10:20 am and he got out around 1:00. We praise the Lord for his mercy for Seth. He did so well. They were able to move his bones around so that when he stands his foot is now facing the right direction. WWOOHOO! The Dr. said they were not able to fully correct his ankle placement or to bring his heel into direct alignment under his legs where it should be, but they were able to improve it quite a bit.

Seth also has a dear friend named Cody that had derotation surgery today also. His is still in surgery right now. We are praying for quick healing for both boys with NO infection. God is so good.

Seth woke up finally around 2:30 and asked for food and to watch a little bit of tv. He is in a little bit of pain on the left leg right at the incision sight. The pain med.'s seem to be handling it well.
