Sophie's Ponytail

As you can probably tell, we are quite impressed with the fact that after a year, Sophie's hair has grown to the length that with a lot of coaxing, her hair can be put into a pony tail which measures about 3/4 of an inch.

Saturday night Andi and I were at Wal-Mart getting some last minute party things and we ran into one of Andi's friends from high school. She had her daughter, Kyla (nice name) with her. Kyla could practically donate her hair to Locks of Love at this point. She is 3 months older than Sosie.

As we walked away, of course Andi was asking "Did you see that hair?" As if I could miss it - so I answered, "Yes, but just think, if she were to rub birthday cake in her hair, you couldn't just wash all of her hair with one wet wipe."

Andi stopped her cart and looked at me to ask, "Is that what you tell yourself to make yourself feel better?"

I laughed and told her, "Nope, that's what I tell you to make YOU feel better." Then we mosied to the hair care aisle to buy the teeniest tiniest rubber bands for pony tail coaxing.
