A Twist in the Plot

Ryan's story has taken an unexpected twist. When we went for his third set of X-rays today, they showed me some X-rays and I asked them when they were going to put up the ones we did today for comparison.

Unfortunately, they were showing me the ones they did today - which are identical to the ones they did Tuesday. The coin, despite Ryan drinking the gut cleaning medicine has lodged itself in the most inopportune place for easy retrieval.

We are going to the doctor at 1:30 to discuss our options at this point - none of which sound pleasant.
