Early American Camp
is going well. The kids are all enjoying themselves and come home full of exciting things to tell me. They like to tell me things - 3 per day is the minimum requirement - so that they don't have to come home and do school work. Othewise, I figure if they haven't learned at least three things they can tell me, they need to learn something at home. So far, so good.
They eat food from that period each day for lunch. They had corn meal mush on Tuesday and today they ate stones with their Boston tea party.
When Sherie and I picked the kids up though, it took them telling me about the stones for the first 10 minutes before I figured out they had eaten chocolate chip scones, not stones for lunch.
