It's the middle of the night
I think there should be some kind of light board between friends - sort of like an old fashioned switchboard so you could just flip your light on if you were awake and your friends, who were also awake, could call you and have a middle of the night chat.
It's now 2:45 am. Andi tucked me into bed - literally, tuck, tuck, tuck at 10:06. I was wide awake by midnight and since then, I have just been sitting here at my desk. I have taken more pain pills in the last 9 hours than in the combined aftermath of the previous four surgeries I have had in the past 10 years. These little head bumps are kicking my butt with pain. I'm thinking my pain pills must have been purchased from an on-line pharmacy and they are placebos. They surely can't be the real thing. I spent a lot of the night in prayer for Blaine's brother in law, Bob, who has a large brain tumor and has been given a life expectancy of 9 months. Their family could use your prayers.
Last night Andi, Big Guy, Jacob, Ben, Jada and I watched the new show, "Thank God You're Here." It was hilariously funny and if they are all as good as the ones on last night, it should be a huge hit.
I've gotten a lot accomplished though in my sleeplessness. I found some cool links for Andi to help her with Sophie's first birthday party. She has chosen an unusual theme, but that's for her to tell you about.
I've read a lot of the Cub Scout Webelos manual, which is sitting here on my desk. Jacob had to draw some shapes on the computer for his artist badge for Scouts. He did this picture of Bill, which I think is a very good likeness. That is a light sabre tucked in his belt.
I've done some of my Believing God Bible study. I've looked over my party guest lists for my Tastefully Simple party and made a list of things to do for that. That should be a blast. Lots of fun ladies coming to that. I've checked out the Dr. McDreamy contest. I've read blogs and I've subscribed to a new magazine. Quite the productive night.
I've also posted three separate posts on my blog, so I think I should just take another pill and go back to bed.
