Haircut Tips

I usually give the stylist at Wal-Mart a tip after she cuts my hair. Yep, I'm so into my lovely locks, I go to Wal-Mart where I am on display to every self-checkout shopper while I get my hair cut. I mean I have had the same haircut for going on 35 years, it can't be that hard to do.

When I got my hair cut last week I gave the "stylist" a quite a bit larger than normal tip. I was thinking of how excited Andi had been the day before when this lady came to pick up an order Andi had been working on and she gave Andi a $60.00 tip for doing such a good job.

With that in mind and a Christmas spirit heart I gave her the tip and told her to have a Merry Christmas. Now mind you, it wasn't anywhere near 60 bucks, but she had worked on me for 27 minutes not 30 hours.

Here's the tip I should have given myself: Put on your glasses and check the back of your hair before paying - much less tipping. I have a huge gouge in the back of my hair and it just sorta sticks out in an awkward position. I suppose it would be in poor taste to ask for a tip refund - so maybe she will use it for a continuing education class. I can hope so anyway.
