Please pray for my friends

We have a wonderful young couple in our church who have experienced 5 miscarriages before discovering that a chromosome abnormality one of them carried would never allow them to have a baby. So they decided to go the adoption route and have been listed with an agency for some time at a cost of several hundred dollars per month. They have been interviewed several times by different birth mothers but nothing ever came from these interviews.

They had finally been selected to get a baby boy who is to be born tomorrow. They felt certain that it would go through since the mother had placed two other children for adoption already. They furnished the nursery, bought clothes, scheduled their trip to go pick him up - everything.

Our pastor's wife called a bit ago. The birth mother has decided to keep the baby. My friends are beyond devastated. Please keep them in your prayers.
