Shopping for Bophie
Today there was a HUGE sale on children's clothes from a consignment shop. There were racks and racks of baby clothes and Andi, Kathy and I had a blast shopping for Bophie. The prices were so low that not only did we buy gender neutral clothes, we bought clothes specifically for boys and girls. At the prices we paid, we can resell them at a yard sale or as I suggested, save them for the next grandbaby. It was so fun imagining what Bophie will look like wearing this little rose colored gown or those blue overalls.
After shopping we went to Red Lobster to celebrate Kathy's 45th birthday today. We had a very enjoyable lunch. Love that "make your own combo" option. Kathy has been doing the Atkins diet for several months with much success, but today, being her birthday and all - and faced with those hot, cheddar biscuits.......well, I'll never tell.
Tonight is one basketball game we look forward to all year. DUKE (27-2) vs North Carolina (20-6). It starts in 10 minutes. The pregame show is on and going back through years of memories. It's senior night and that is always sad. Overall, this is a wonderful time of year. We love March Madness. And I'm awfully fond of Melene, although she is on the wrong end of this rivalry.
