Jacob was sick today

effectively putting an end to any picnic plans, so I did the unthinkable. I washed and waxed my car. It is the first time it's been waxed since I bought it 3 years ago. I forgot it could look so good. So in honor of this great accomplishment, tomorrow after school is done, I told the kids we would go rent a movie they have never seen before..... The Karate Kid.

Wax on -- wax off. Maybe after tomorrow, they will understand why I kept muttering that to them and standing like a pelican.
