A Difference of Opinion
I saw a picture in the paper last Friday and it got me to thinking about the differences between me and my ex-husband's current wife. As I thought about the differences, it seems that Steve tried to snag a second wife as different from me as possible. Of course, I did the same thing in finding Bill. Anyway, some of the differences in us come quickly to mind.
She is an atheist. I am a Christian.
She is about 4 ft. 6 in. tall. I am over a foot taller than that.
She weighs about 94 pounds. So do I - at least a couple of times.
She is a cat lover. I am a cat hater.
She does not like children & never wanted any. Obviously not me.
She is a feminist who kept her maiden name. I am a SAHM & love it.
She is a crafty soul who does fine needlepoint. I am a woodworker.
She is a vegetarian with a Meat is Murder bumper sticker. I list steak as one of my favorite foods along with pork chops, bacon and juicy hamburgers.
Oh, and the picture of her? She was standing in the pouring rain, by the side of the road after driving 100 miles to protest at an appearance of President Bush. She is holding a sign that read "Bush is a Murderer." I support our President.
But her sign got me to wondering. Does this mean she is against the war or that she is offended because he likes to butcher his own steak?
