Winding down the business of dying

It's  been about seven weeks since Bill died.  In some ways it seems like years, and  in other  ways it seems like minutes.  I think of him often, but perhaps that is because every day seems to be consumed with some item of business to take care of regarding his death. Today,  I had to go to the attorney, the BMV, the bank, and the Social Security office, as well as making phone calls to Toyota and to the insurance company regarding the kids.

I'm blessed with great friends and a remarkable brother who have been there to help me every step of the way. They have certainly made this difficult journey easier.
