So Patricia came to visit..........

After almost 10 years of inviting her, she finally came.  She came on Thursday, stayed till Tuesday and unlike fish, did not stink after 3 days. We had a blast, she met my family and friends and in the entire time together, we got exactly 2 pictures.  One by the fire out at Sherie's Friday night and one right before she left Tuesday morning.  I took her to all my favorite restaurants and hang outs. We played games at Gwen's Saturday night with a group of friends. 

 

After church Sunday, we had a surprise birthday dinner for her and sang in our traditional, loud, off key sorta way that makes her ears hurt. Zac, Benjamin and Portia even came so they could meet her as well.

 

Sophie and Keegan fell in love with her from the first minute and Wednesday when Keegan came after school, his first question was "Where is Patricia." When I told him that she had gone home, his face dropped.  I told him she had just come down to fall in love with him and Sophie said, "That's cool, because we fell in love with her right back." And they all did.  What's not to love?  We started missing her before she had even hit the highway.
