Sophie’s Christmas play

Gwen, Susie and I made the trek to watch the Hanover College Theatre’s Christmas production, “Ebenezer.”  It was performed both inside and outside of the historical Shrewsberry house in Madison.  

The audience traveled room to room in this beautiful home.  The doors are 12’ tall, the ceilings 16’ and you could just imagine all of the events that have taken place in the almost 200 years this house has stood. 

The adaptation of the play was fantastic.  The singing was festive with the audience joining in the carols.  Everything was top notch and once again, the actors did a fantastic job. I also appreciate the ornament they give you. This one will join my bell from last year’s play, “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
