Ben’s 6th grade ceremony

Vicki and I went to Benjamin’s 6th grade graduation ceremony at Evans school this morning. Ben received a Distinguished Honor Roll award. 

He was so happy.  Ben was the kid who’s at least a head taller than just about everyone, including his teachers!

The artwork displayed were pictures of the kids, with what they want to be when they grow up. There were of course, doctors, lawyers, vets and a bunch of other occupations. 

Ben, however, summed his desires up quite nicely. “I want to be someone who makes decisions.”

After all the rough years Ben had in early elementary years, I’m so proud of how he has turned it around and actually enjoys school.
