Academic Bowl Team Captain Selection

Picked Keegan up from school. Our conversation went something like this:

K: Mamaw, I got elected to be the captain of the Academic Bowl Team.

M: That's great! When is it? Put it on my calendar.

K. April 30th. Actually, it was a landslide. I got twice as many votes as everyone else.

M: Wow - that's crazy.

K: Well, there are only 5 us. I got 2 votes.

M: Did you vote for yourself?

K: (with a look of horror) NO! That wouldn't be very humble. I voted for Libby.

M: I'm proud of you.

K: Proud enough for a celebratory milkshake?

He got a peanut butter one.
