Kentucky Lake with the girls!

What a great weekend away - the perfect “after the holidays” retreat. Not only was it relaxing, but I didn’t know that they had planned to make it a surprise birthday party for me. 🎉. Andi and Carrie made me a Nicolas Cage cake and Jill brought me a piñata stuffed with at least 10 pounds of candy. Both of those were a first for me. 

After lunch Saturday, I tried to lead the street crowd in a rousing version of The Green Acres theme song, while on the pink tractor. I had a semi enthusiastic response. Fun people sang. Boring people did not. My people sang. 😂

So much laughter and memories made. We put Andi in charge of writing our thoughts in the guest book. As you can imagine, it was not your normal “what a lovely house” comment. 😉. We are already planning our next weekend away❤️
