A bit Sadcited - Hearing Aids for mom

Tonight, I find myself somewhat sadcited, where you are sad a situation has come to a particular point in your life, yet excited about the future possibilities.

I had a hearing test in December, 2012 and another one today. Today's test showed a decrease in hearing to the point I will be getting hearing aids. Kinda sad I need those, yet excited at the thought of being able to hear what is being said around me.

Andi is not sadcited. She is just over the top excited. She has been sending me a barrage of of glammed out hearing aids and she thinks she will persuade me to do this to my own. She won't.

I will have mine in about 2 weeks and then, I think the sad part will be gone and my TV volume will be on 40 instead of 100. So you might see me with a little thing behind my ear, but I can assure you, it won't be decorated like these Andi sent me to choose from. Nope. Not happening.
