Mark ~~ a good man, gone from our lives

Kelli's husband, Mark has been one of my best friends since the moment I met him.  He was a big guy with a big heart, who loved his family and friends with his whole heart. Mark has been sick for several months and several weeks ago, the doctors told us there was nothing left to do for him.  Mark entered hospice care and shortly thereafter, on October 29th,  he was gone. 

I was able to share a drink with Mark in the hospital the night he signed the papers to enter hospice care.  I also had one of the most special conversations of my life when I talked to him about dying and the peaceful transition it is from life to heaven. 

Mark loved kids - and none more than Wyatt.  He was his best friend.  Before Wyatt came along, Sophie and Keegan were his favorite kiddos to hang out with. He spoiled them like crazy -- and they let him do it.
