I don't want my Mothers Day post to get lost among the other this weekend. This is my Momma Bear. Yes, I really call her that. Everyone always says I handle my situation with grace and humor. You can thank this woman for that. She raised me to be strong willed to the point of stubborn, taught me never to quit or mope, and that everything can be fixed with time and ice cream, a lesson she learned from her father. She taught me love has no color, that America IS the greatest co...untry and that we are lucky to be here, and not to blame anyone else for wanting to live here. She molded me into an independent voter and thinker. But above all, she taught me to love BIG, and unceasingly, even when those you love act selfishly. Sometimes I still have to work on that last bit. I'm proud to be her daughter, and look forward to embarrassing her in public for many more years. Happy Mothers Day, Momma. I love you to infinity (plus one).
