Ummm, Yeah

Conversation with Benjamin, who just turned 5, today.

 

"Mamaw, Come here and look at this object in your bedroom." We go and he points to my clock, and says, "My mom, Amanda, has a clock that is similar to this one, except it is trapezoid shape, which isn't very common for a clock."

 

I reply, "OK" (I'm such a wordsmith-- he gets his vocabulary from me)

 

And then I go look up what shape trapezoid is.
