Mamaw's Little Helpers

The kids spent a day of their spring break helping me make a headboard for my bed and putting the bunk bed together for their room. They learned a lot and I practiced my patience skills. After getting the bed together we headed to the garage, where they stained a few hundred floor tiles I had purchased used. They were in sad shape (the tiles, not the kids), but Wes and I had cleaned them up and sanded them down in preparation for the kids. They not only learned how to stain properly, but they were amazingly neat and clean about it.  Then, they learned how to use the nail gun.

It was good for all of us and at the end of the day, we had accomplished a lot!
