Sometimes when you follow doctor's orders

you end up in the hospital anyway.  Andi has had a fever pretty much non stop since October.  She has, at her doctor's orders, been taking fever reducing medication. 

Which led to an ulcer in her stomach. Andi was in the hospital on one side of town this week, while Carly was in the hospital on the other side of town.

After having stomach pains for days with non stop vomiting,  an endoscopy finally showed an ulcer at the top of her stomach. They did a biopsy on the ulcer as well as the lining of her stomach, to check for infection.  This might be the source of the fever, but that's not likely. She will have a follow up endoscopy in 2 months to make sure the ulcer is healing.

Thankfully, Andi's ulcer should get better now that they have found the source of her stomach pain and she is taking medicine for it...on doctor's orders.
