Sophie's recorder

Although they both have umbrellas in their backpacks, Sophie and Keegan took so long getting home today, I finally decided they must be waiting for me to pick them up, since it was raining. I went to get them and found them straggling along, slowly but surely. I asked what took them so long and Keegan said it was because they had to keep stopping to dry off Sophie's recorder. I asked her why not just put it in your backpack?  Her answer in her typical deadpan fashion, "I was holding my umbrella in one hand and practicing my recorder with the other.  Not nearly as easy as I had imagined it would be."
