Surprise birthday trip!

Carly turned 17 this week and she and I celebrated with a trip to Lancaster, PA.  It was her first real flight in an airplane and she enjoyed it.  It was also her first ride in a horse drawn buggy through Amish country and she loved that. She and I spent four days going to plays and musicals, touring Amish country and finishing up going through Chocolate World at Hershey, PA.  I think it was quite a memorable birthday for both of us. One thing she most certainly did NOT like was the local favorite, Shoofly Pie.
