Making arrangements

David, Jacob and I met with the funeral director today to make the arrangements for Bill. Bill's sister and brother met us there to sign the necessary paperwork to allow us to do that, since Jacob is still a minor. 

Afterwards, we went to Bill's house to give them some family items, such as the flag from their dad's funeral and a pocket watch from their grandfather. They were very kind.  Bill really didn't know what he was missing in life.  They did mention that Bill's death was on their dad's birthday. I wonder if that played a part in his mind.
