16 and getting older by the minute

This is what Jacob looked like when I started blogging.  He's really kinda grown up with his life story on the internet.  He was mischievous then ~~ and he still is. The blog post that accompanies the picture was classic Jacob.

 

He likes most things that other 16 year old boys do -- with the exception of driving.  He hates to drive.  With a passion.  Which is too bad, since I've been carting him back and forth to McDonald's for almost a year and was looking forward to him driving himself.  Of course, on the other hand is the fact that I don't have to buy insurance for a teenage, male driver -- always a plus.

 

Jacob is a great kid ~~ he's my main "cheerleader", constantly leaving me notes about how proud of me he is, and things like that.  He's a hard worker and someday, he will be a great husband and dad.  I'm proud to be his mom.
