6 hours and 7 minutes
We meandered around downtown St. Louis for awhile, dropped by a casino where we vowed to spend no more than $20.00. About 4 minutes later, Susan texted me that she had spent $30.00 and would be waiting at our meeting place.
I, however, left a winner -- for the first time ever. I won $24.76 on about the 3rd pull of my penny slot machine and with that, I was pretty much done.
We then went to The Big Bang Piano Bar, which is one of my favorite places to go in Nashville or St. Louis. I had never been there with guys, but it was as much fun as ever. I think it had a lot to do with the particular group of guys I was with, though.
Sunday morning, we had a great breakfast at the Marriott at Union Station, where we were staying. We then did a bit of shopping in Union Station before heading to the game. We had fantastic seats under the scoreboard on the patio. A nice guy loaded us into a cart and took us right to our seats upon entering the stadium. We had nice comfy chairs (thankfully) and our tickets included all you could eat and drink. I was expecting hot dogs and was not disappointed. We had hot dogs. But there was also BBQ chicken, pulled pork, BBQ ribs, sides, nachos and desserts -- plus drinks and beer.

The weather was beautiful and the game started at 1:15.........and ended MANY hours later after the Cards failed to score in the 19th inning. It tied for the longest game of the season and holds the record for the most innings this year. It was like 2 games for one! We still stopped for dinner on the way home and rolled into town about midnight.
All in all, it was a fantastic weekend. Can't wait to do it again next year!
