The results are in.......

and not the election results. The results of the kids testing after 3 weeks using their new curriculum. They won't have daily grades to take into account when report cards are issued, so these test scores will be 50% of their grades.

Starting with Jacob, Math 94, English 90, Social Studies 88, Science 94 & as I've mentioned many times, Spelling is difficult for him and he will be taking his test again. He missed 3 words too many.

Next, Wesley's results are Math 91, English 88, Social Studies 93, Science 100, and Spelling 94.

Finally, Carly -- the girl who tested as retarded when she came to live with us. The girl that the specialists at Riley said would never be able to learn - or live on her own --- well she did OK, too.

She got a 92 in Social Studies and a 96 in Spelling. Her other three subjects, Math, English and Science........she got 100 on each of those. If she follows the prognosis we were given when we adopted her, I suppose she will be living on her own by the time she's 12.

Now that the first test is behind us, I think they I won't be so nervous next time.
