A day with the kids

I had a rare treat today, spending the day with all of my kids. We went to the zoo and then out to lunch, followed by ice cream cones. I didn't make a lot of pictures of the animals at the zoo, but I did make a lot of pictures of the kids at the zoo.

Since Boo at the Zoo was officially over, all of the pumpkins that had been decorating the zoo were just up for grabs -- for free.

The double stroller didn't hold the kids for long, but Andi looked like a traveling country store on wheels with all the pumpkins that were loaded down on it. Once the stroller was full, the kids still wanted "just one more" for themselves. So we told them they had to carry their own.

Jacob chose one practically bigger than him, and Zac carried it for him when he abandoned it at the bottom of a long hill. Carly decided to carry hers on her head and Sophie decided that must be the way to go.

She was wrong though and gave up after awhile. I ended up carrying both her and her pumpkin up the hill.
