Yep, she was surprised

I had prepared Carly yesterday that I might be too tired to make her a birthday cake today. I told her earlier today that I was too tired, but I assured her I would make one tomorrow. She was OK with that and in fact, at dinner this evening told me I didn't need to make her one at all. She was so sincere, I about spilled the beans. But, I resisted.

When Zac showed up I sent Carly to the pantry to get an extra chair and when she came back, waiting at her plate was this cool cake that Zac's girlfriend, Andie had made for her. She was delighted and amazed. I think she was glad she got a cake after all.
