Comin' at ya' live from Boon-Vegas

powered by Vectren - we are up and running. It's good to have electricity. It's nice to flip that little switch and not feel like an idiot because nothing happens. The washer and dryer are humming along, the dishwasher is running and the fish tank is bubbling. A few packages of lunch meat and 5 fish were are only casualties in the outage.

Lunch meat was about 10 bucks - fish about $150.00. Still not so bad considering how other people fared. Thanks to Larry & Heidi for storing all our freezer food!

Lots to do to get dad ready to make the move. I'll be spending the evening ironing name tags into everything he's taking with him - just like I was sending him away to summer camp. Only not.

So much to do, so little time. I have a stack of books to grade, so I've gotta get on that.
