60.5 Party!

Today, I felt the love. Since my 60th birthday was during quarantine Andi and Shaun threw me a 60.5 birthday party today.

I love it when adults check their dignity at the door in order to make fun  memories with their kids. That’s what today was all about. Family fun time. Mission accomplished.

Games included relay races to eat fruit roll ups from a clothesline, a frisbee obstacle course, tossing water balloons with beach towels, Drip, Drip, Drop (like Duck, Duck, Goose, only with water.) And as long as we were standing in a circle, a quick round of the Hokey Pokey.

The food was fantastic, the friends were awesome, the day was perfect.  Since Vicki couldn’t be there in person, Andi made sure she was represented by a mannequin head!
